Hello, I have been playing the guitar for a few years now but have recently taken to the banjo and fiddle , and i also dabble on the mandolin a bit. My wife also plays the guitar and has taken up "frailing" banjo, she to dabbles on mandolin, and clogs for the local appalacian dance troup. We are both fairly new to "old time"music and were drawn to it after watching "Oh Brother Where art thou". We then found "Uncle Earl" on the internet, and also rattle on the stove pipe in the U.K. ( is that you Davy Arthur).? Atho we have not been playing for very long we do play in our local folk club in a band called bag of nerves, and we played at the local festival last year, and altho we are not accomplished musicians what we lack in skill we make up for in enthusiasm.
