Hello friends:
I'm a fiddle player who discovered this forum a couple months ago and prompty joined up, but this is my first post. I've play different styles but my primary interests are in both the Appalachian & Texas styles. Also I know many traditional tunes from Thailand that I learned during my ten years playing in a string band in Chiangmai. More generally I'm really into anything acoustic & instrumental & "old."
I'm looking forward to making new acquaintences here. Thanks!

Wow. Now that's different. I must confess I have absolutely no idea what they would sound like.
I wonder, can you direct us to any MP3s of the sort of tunes you learned over there?
Cheers Dick
