Here are some essential Forums, invaluable Traditional Music & Song sites I have been using for years, Tune & Song Sites every musician should know about. If you are looking for a "Traditional" Tune or Song, these sites are a wonderful place to start. Check their libraries or ask questions on their forums. If you only have one line of a song but would like to learn ALL the lyrics, or you just know the air of a Song or Tune but would like to know the name, or you do know the name but don't know or can't remember how the tune goes, or you just want to hear how that old Irish or Scottish tune went before the Old Timers got their hands on it ;D .......... then these sites will help you. They have a combination of brilliant & informative forums, libraries with MP3s, Sheet Music, &/or ABC Files. Enjoy! Do you have one that you use & find useful, which is not on the list? If so, please post the link below & I'll be happy to add it on. Good hunting. N.B. They are in no particular order ... they're all well worth a visit. 1 ~ Ceolas2 ~ The Session3 ~ Chiff & Fipple4 ~ The Mudcat Cafe5 ~ Breizh Partitions6 ~ Tin Whistle Tunes7 ~ Uilleann Obsession8 ~ The Fiddler's Companion9 ~ Mandolin Cafe MP3 Music10 ~ Concertina.net Tune-O-Tron11 ~ O'Neill's Dance Music Of Ireland12 ~ Irish Traditional Music Tune Index13 ~ Comhaltas Traditional Music Archive14 ~ Footstompin ~ Scottish Music Forum 15 ~ Nigel Gatherer's Traditional Music Pages

Thanks for the links, Dick. It's great. As you know I have been struggling with the lyrics to an old Riley Puckett song. It can be seen under General discussions. On Hunters suggestion I looked up Mudcat Cafe, put up the lyrics that I had got so far, and a link to the song, late yesterday evening. A few moments later, I had a suggestion for the line I didn't understand. This morning about ten people had visitet each contributing with minor and major changes. Now I have, not only, the correct lyrics, or as close as it gets, but also the name of the composer. The internet is fantastic. ;D ;D
