As a native Kentuckian, I am really happy to know that folks in Europe appreciate Bluegrass. Really fantastic players too it seems. I never knew.
Bluegrass has a steady following in all parts of the US now although it began as a strongly regional style. It seems like as many Northerners are into it today as there are those in the Upland South and people are very enthusiastic.
Bluegrass has strong roots in the folk music of the British Isles. Anyone can clearly hear the similarities. There is something in the sounds that goes deep into our souls and our past.
Keep on pickin' fellas!
