Have you heard ~ Buffalo in the Castle yet?
I can't imagine why, but I'm just wondering if anyone here has a problem with the coming together of Irish & Old Time Music in the one band?
Of course it's been done before, by the likes of Lunny & Molsky, but when all's said and done, at the end of the day, good music is good music ............. & the band BUFFALO IN THE CASTLE produce GREAT Music, so as far as I'm concerned .... END OF STORY!
So those of you who like your Irish Music & your Old Time Music are going to really enjoy this group:
Buffalo in the Castle
The line up is: Desi Wilkinson, Mairtin O’Connor, Frank Hall, Lena Ullman.
The first two being highly regarded in the field of Irish Music.
The latter two being highly regarded in the field of Old Time Music. You may know them through their band 'Moonshine':
Moonshine
The sound they produce is quite fascinating.
GOOD NEWS - they also have a CD out, which you can buy on the website.
