Aye John, I know what you mean. After all, he can only Sing while playing either the Fiddle, Banjo &/or Guitar! Now if he was really any good at all, you'd think he'd be able to play ALL THREE at the same time, while singing! Seriously though, personally, I'd settle for being able to play any one of those instruments even half as well as he plays them ... that'd do me. As for his stage persona ... well, give me quality musical content every time, over lots of that sickening old over rehearsed & patronising cabaret you see, which usually just makes me want to .... Cheers Dick

Hehe ;D Now something's happening! Let's get a lil' old fight here. I think Molsky is a very, very skilled musician, but Dick, I'm also curious to know who you are thinking about, when you say "over rehearsed & patronising cabaret "? I am not sure what you are referring to?

Ah Ha, NO, NO, don't anyone here take that comment personally .... PLEEEZE! No, I was thinking of some of the Country acts I've stumbled onto, on YouTube, when I've been looking for Old Time. Some of their sugar coated, smarmy patter you could cut with a knife & is so affected as to give me a doze of the 'dry boke', every time! I like it best when folks are just plain honest about who they are & what they're doing, that works best for me, every time, you can keep your staged patter & ye olde razzamatazz! Cheers Dick

Oh no. I don't take it personally. I for instance prefer to sit down when performing, and now the young guys in the band seems to have been grabbed by the showbizz bacille , and want to stand up. I play better sitting down, so what can I do?
Cheers Jesper

Well Jesper, you know, my motto is Bass players, stand up for your rights. But as I can see from the photoes taken at the Kattinge Træf you look great sitting down!!
I still think that Bruce is boaring. Nearly fell asleep listening to the man on you tubes, He is a skilled muscian but I find him very dry. Shaken not stirred! Anyway, he has never been my cup of tea. I prefer Art Rosenbaum. He does not play the violin. But of course, if Bruce should ever happen to come to Denmark I will be there. If he brings a band cheers, John
