I subsrcibe to a newsmail from New York Times and get a mail with the news every day, and about a week ago they wrote a piece about how rural roots music is becoming hot in New York. Clubs open up everywhere, and a lot of people are beginning to play old time stringband music, bluegrass, klezmer, blues etc. I mail a lot with the fiddler Mike Jarboe who live upstate New York, and today he confirmed, that there is a virtual boom of a folk revival in N.Y. City, especially in Old time music and a lot of young people are coming to the festivals to play. I thought: "Wow! Things that become a trend over there often rub off on us in Denmark sooner or later, so maybe our little band will end up being trendy someday." ;D ;D ;D

That must be good news. Interesting to note too that, as they embrace Old Time Music in New York, some folks have just about heard enough Irish Songs! No Nae Never, No More! ;D ? ..... If your right Jesper, maybe you guys should quickly change your name to BIG TRENDY JOE Cheers Dick
