Hi!
I wonder if it is only me who is a little annoyed with the background image on the forum? The picture itself is nice, but the quick-navigation bar is pretty much guesswork because if the trees in the background.
I am talking about that little line of navigation texts between
.................................... Music enthusiasts. We now have XX Members.
(little navigation links, shows you where you are on the forum) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Forum box starts here..
Ok, I might not be very clear, but I hope you know what I mean.
regards, Kristian

Being in the graphic business I know exactly what you mean. I don't like when the background makes it impossible to read the text. Readability above all. Sorry Dick, but I think Kristian is right.

No problem Kristian.
I never actually use those little links myself & as nobody has mentioned not being able to see them clearly before, I didn't think anyone else bothered with them either.
Anyway, try this Appalachian scene & let me know if you have any problems with it.
Cheers Dick

But I can definitely read the links now.

It is much better. Anyway it's more readable, and I use the small links a lot. But it must be possible to find more interesting pictures If I had a regular mail address for you, Dick. I have a couple of nice pictures from the Blue Ridge Mountains, that might be useful. Just say so, and I'll mail them.

Does this look familiar Rick? Ah, yes, the wee Church in Ballintoy! And it allows you to read the links. Much better. Even though I live just to the west of the mountain range here in TN, I don't usually take pictures of it since we see them all the time. What I take pictures of is Ireland! Maybe I'll have to take a few shots when we go to pick up me kilt next month over in Franklin, NC. There are some beautiful places over that way, and on the way. Hmmm. Interesting that the background isn't showing up now.

Glad you like it Kristian ... happy to be of service. ;D However, I'm just waiting to see if Johannes ... A - doesn't mind us using his photo of his Banjo & B likes to see his Banjo displayed this way. As I like the idea of a Banjo photo as background, & especially one that has been made in Europe, my fingers are crossed. Cheers Dick P.S. Thanks to Jesper for using his magic wand to make the original dark background of that photo disappear!

I'll ask him! ;D - I doubt he will have any problem with it, I'll edit his response in here once I get a hold of him (he is offline on skype at the moment)
/Kristian
Edit: It is ok to use the picture according to my dad, but I believe you have already contacted him. So it is ok!
