I first found out about Sheffield's *Folk Train* on an edition of the BBC programme Countryfile.
Apparently there are Folk Trains running around Manchester too.
Folk Train
So I was wondering, do they run Music Sessions on any trains in your area, or on any other forms of transport for that matter?
Maybe you have a Folk Bus, Folk Boat, or perhaps a Folk Flight in your neck of the woods?
Have you yourself ever been on one, or better still played on one?
I can just imagine travelling through some beautiful countryside & listening to some great Old Time music, live in the train. It sounds like a brilliant idea.
Cheers Dick

Hi, Ptarm! Haven't heard of that around Chattanooga, and we have a lot of trains! We also have a Riverboat or two. That would be a great idea! Hmmmm. Not sure a dulcimer would fit well on a bus, though - and the train might be a bit tight, as well. Might be an interesting idea for one of these years in Co. Antrim?
