GREAT NEWS! I had a phone call from an American lady this very afternoon, asking if I could teach her a few Irish tunes. She is staying over here for a few months, while working at the local University & is something of a beginner on the Fiddle but is very keen to learn some Irish tunes on her Fiddle. So, there's nothing too exciting about that, I hear you all mutter, but wait, here comes the juicy bit ....... during the conversation I discovered that she already plays another instrument ~ guess what? Yes, she plays Clawhammer Banjo in an Old Time Band back home! YEEEE HAAAW ;D ;D ;D So we're going to meet up this Thursday night & the deal is, we'll teach each other new tunes. There's only one slight problem though, she didn't bring her Banjo with her! So I'm now on the hunt around here, for a spare Banjo that she can borrow for a few months. At last, it looks like there might be some light at the end of the tunnel for me! ;D I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that I can manage to pick up a Banjo for her, soon. I will, of course, keep you posted. Cheers Dick

Hi Trimbelle, no, I am working with ammo and fireworks. So ,I am not trowing anything around unless I have to. But you cannot stick a banjo into a cannon so I find a sling more proper. cheers, John
