Hello there,
Sorry for the Spam! I promise I shall not make a habit of this.
Anyway, now that your New Year hangover has hopefully cleared, ;D I am writing to let you know about the TWO new additions, you may or may not have noticed, at the foot of the Home Page.
I must admit, I have been curious about Webrings for a while now & I finally decided over the holidays to take the plunge & in an effort to spread the Old Time Music word even further, & hopefully help us all to keep in touch with each other even more easily, I have started an Old Time Mountain Music "Webring".
Old Time Mountain Music ~ WebRing
As you know I am very cautious and hate SPAM with a vengence, but this set up does appear to be a fairly safe one. Also, as the Ring Master, you can be sure that I will only be admitting sites which promote Old Time Music, Old Time Musicians or which promote makers of fine Old Time Musical Instruments.
So please feel free to check this out & if you are genuinly interested, then by all means link your own, or your band's, website to this webring.
The other new object down there is the ClustrMAP!
I thought it might be fun for us all to see where the most interested visitors are actually visiting us from.
I hope you enjoy checking it out when you visit, too.
Finally, many thanks for all your help, support & encouragement in 2007.
From where I'm sitting it looks like we have a grand wee friendly & interesting forum in the making.
Keep up the good work guys.
Cheers
Dick
P.S. I see from the ClustrMap that most visitors are from the Eastern North America, Denmark, Sweden & England.
However, we've had others from Holland, France, Germany, Poland, Balarus, Switzerland, Scotland, Norway, Austria, Italy, Bosnia, Canada, Colombo, Singapore & Finland.
However, it looks like we have also had a visitor from .
I do hope they say HELLO at some stage!
Cheers
Dick
P.P.S. I notice the Dulcimer Forum, next door, has even had visitors from Nigeria, Isreal, India, Greece, Australia, Canada, Hawaii, Chile & what looks like St Kitts!.
